1. Who we are

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data we process through the Mintu app, our website, and the waitlist. It does not cover third-party services that have their own privacy policies, which we link to where relevant.

3. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service:

• Account information — such as your email address and authentication details.
• Content you give Mintu — the tasks, notes, and chat messages you create or send to the assistant.
• Connected mailbox data — if you connect Gmail, we read message content and metadata solely to identify and extract action items for you.
• Device & notification data — a push notification token so we can send reminders to your device.
• Basic usage & diagnostic data — limited logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Waitlist data — if you join the waitlist, the email address (and any details) you submit via our form provider.

4. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your connected mailbox for advertising.

• To provide the Service — extract, organize, and track your personal-life tasks.
• To send reminders, follow-ups, and push notifications you ask for.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including early-access updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. Service providers & sub-processors

We use a small number of trusted providers to deliver the Service. They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:

• OpenAI — to extract action items from your content and power chat responses.
• Composio — to securely connect to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Tasks when you authorize it.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your Service data.
• Expo — to deliver push notifications to your device.
• Youform — to collect and manage waitlist signups.

6. Google user data

Mintu’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We access only the Gmail and Google data needed to provide and improve user-facing features, we do not transfer or use it for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account or by disconnecting the integration in the app.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your tasks, disconnect a connected mailbox, or delete your account and associated data at any time. To request deletion or ask what we hold, email [email protected].

8. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, row-level security so each user can access only their own data, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

9. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you have rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to grievance redressal. To exercise these rights or raise a concern, contact our grievance officer at [email protected]. We will respond within the timelines required by law.

10. Children

Mintu is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

Forgefire is based in India, and your information may be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate protection wherever data is processed.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
